Fun Fridays (after swim meets)
10a–11a - Team ribbons from the meet the night before & a donut. Swimmer of the week announced. Coach will go over DQs individually.
Weather Policy
All weather updates will be communicated through the Swimtopia app. Practices may be delayed or canceled for the following reasons:
- Visible lightning strikes. If lightning is seen by the coach, there will be a 30 min. delay with each strike and practice could be canceled.
- Thunder. Each thunder clap heard by the coach will result in a 15 min. delay up to the entire practice.
- Heavy rain. If rain is heavy enough to where the bottom of the pool is not clear, practice will be delayed or canceled.
- Pool temperature. If the pool temperature is below 75 degrees, practice could be canceled. In this case, a dryland practice may occur instead.
Practice Attendance
There is no required minimum number of practices that swimmers must attend. We recommend that swimmers attend as many practices as possible to receive the full benefit from endurance and stroke technique training.
