Ironman
The Heritage Lakes Ironman award goes to any swimmer who legally completes each of the six individual events in a swim meet. The award is presented at the end of season awards banquet.
- These events are: short free, breaststroke, individual medley, backstroke, long free, and butterfly.
- Any race in which the swimmer receives a disqualification does not count towards earning the ironman award. If they get disqualified in an event but then try the event again with success, that counts. A swimmer just needs to swim the event one time without disqualification.
- There are no time or place requirements, only successful completion of the race.
- The award must be achieved by the last regular swim meet. Divisionals and C&C do not count.
If your swimmer is trying for this award, you should plan accordingly when you choose their swim entries.
